Guarantees so you can purchase with confidence. The first is a seven (7) day Money Back Guarantee.
If, for any reason at all, you are unsatisfied with your item; you may
return it for a full refund less shipping charges. No questions
asked! Each item also carries a six (6) Month Warranty. If it becomes damaged or broken within the first six (6) months, I will repair or replace it free of charge. (six (6) month warranty does not include fashion jewelry, watches, rings or handbags-see handbag policy)
Q: I
bought a silver bracelet once and when I went to clean it with Sterling
Silver cleaner, the bracelet turned black. Will that happen if I clean
my Leah’s Lovelies Jewelry?
A: No.
Every Leah’s Lovelies custom made product is made from only the Highest
Quality materials, including genuine Sterling Silver. Real silver does
tarnish naturally from pollutants in the air and oils in our skin.
Your jewelry will need to be cleaned from time to time. Tarnish does
show up as black in color on a silver bracelet but when you clean it
with a cleaner approved for Sterling Silver, it will remove the black
and restore the shine. The body chemistry of some people will make
silver tarnish quicker than others. I recommend using a chemically
treated cleaning cloth and liquid jewerly cleaner to clean your
jewelry. You can find these for sale in the Jewelry Supplies section
of my store.
Q: What happens if my item would break?
A: Every custom made jewelry product is backed by the six (6) Month Warranty Program. Should your item become damaged or broken within 6 months from the purchase date, I will repair or replace it FREE of charge. Warranty does NOT cover Lost or Stolen items. (this warranty does not include fashion jewelry, watches, rings and handbags, see handbag warranty)
CUSTOMIZATION
Q: I have a piece of jewelry in mind that you do not carry. Do you offer Customization?
A: Yes!
Most likely if you can dream up, I can create it for you. If you have
a picture, you can e-mail it to me. I will work with you from start to
finish on your product, sending you photographs to review until your
item is perfect. A fully customized piece varies in cost depending
upon the amount of work involved in creating it. I will provide you
with a quote as soon as I receive all the details of your request. I
also have photos of other customers’ Customized pieces that you can
view upon request.
Q: I
have a bracelet that was purchased from another company and I would
like to have an additional strand added onto it, need it re-strung or
re-sized. Do you offer these services?
A: Yes, I do add strands onto bracelets made from other companies. Usually I am able to match up the beads. If I cannot match the original beads, I can work with you on alternative beads. The original strands must be restrung in order to add the new strands. I also can re-string and re-size bracelets and necklaces. E-mail me and I can give you a quote depending on the type of work. Bracelets
that need restrung will be restrung with the beads given. Due to
stretching over time this may make the bracelet smaller. If you need
it larger, an additional charge will be assessed for added beads.
Q: I have a charm in mind for my bracelet but can not find it in the charms catalog. Is there anyway you can get it for me?
A: Quite possibly, yes! Just email a description of the charm you’re thinking of to leahslovelies@hotmail.com
and I can search for it. If I find any that are compatible, I will
send you pictures to review and the cost and timeline to special order
it.
Q: Do you custom engrave charms?
No, Unfortunately, I do not have the equipment required to engrave items.
PLACING YOUR ORDER
Q: How do I give you all my choices when I order a bracelet?
A: At
the end of each product there are several fields where you can enter
all your customization information for your special item. For some items that need very detailed information, you will be directed to click on a forms link to complete. If I am missing any information, I will contact you and ask for it prior to assembling your item.
Q: I accidentally ordered the same bracelet twice and now my cart is charging me for two items when I only want one, what do I do?
A: You
can replace the quantity of 2 with a number 1 by highlighting the
number and pressing 1 on your keyboard. Then scroll down the page and
click on the RECALCULATE button. This will remove the duplicate item
from your cart.
CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY
Q: My bracelet is very dirty and/or turning black. How do I clean it?
A: Real
silver does tarnish naturally from pollutants in the air and the oils
from our skin. Your item will need to be cleaned from time to time.
You can use any jewelry cleaner that is approved for sterling silver
and 14k gold. If your item has pearls in it, make sure the cleaner is
gentle enough for genuine freshwater pearls. I do sell a special
polishing cloth that has a cleaning solution built right in. You
simply wipe your bracelet with the inner section of the cloth to remove
dirt and tarnish. The outer layer of the cloth will buff the bracelet
back to a shine. You can find these cloths in the Jewelry Supplies
section of the store. I also have available BLITZ Jewerly Cleaner
available for purchase in the Jewerly Supplies section.
Q: Can I wear my jewelry in water?
A: I
do not recommend that you wear your jewelry swimming or in the shower.
While doing so will not necessarily break your item, it will dull your
bracelet terribly and will void your warranty if obvious care was not taken.
Q: I purchased a bracelet for a child under the age of 4 years. Are there any special precautions that I should take?
A: Yes! While every product is made from extremely durable materials; the beads, charms and assembling components are VERY small and they DO pose a choking hazard to babies, children and even animals. I recommend that you NEVER leave a baby or small child unattended while they are wearing their special bracelet. I also recommend that you NEVER leave the bracelet within reach of the baby or small child when they are not wearing it. Customers must understand that purchasing a product for a child under the age of 4 is at customer's own risk.
